About Us

At our Well-being Department, we firmly believe in the saying, "The person is not the problem, the problem is the problem." Our team of six dedicated counselors is continually growing, driven by a shared passion for nurturing students and helping them achieve their full potential.

We recognize that mental health is a fundamental right for everyone and strive to create a supportive environment not only for students but also for the entire ecosystem, including teachers, parents, and auxiliary staff. By focusing on the holistic well-being of our community, we aim to provide a place where our kids can thrive and reach their highest potential.

Vision

The DPS Dwarka Expressway Mental Health Department envisions a school community in which mental health is prioritized, destigmatized, and interwoven into the fabric of daily life.

Our aim is to deliver culturally competent, holistic, and wellness-focused solutions to children that promote social-emotional development, prevent the development of mental health concerns, and manage existing social-emotional problems.
We believe in instilling svadhyaya, which is the knowledge of oneself. We want to establish a welcoming and friendly workplace that promotes resilience, emotional well-being, and healthy connections. Implementing new programmes, creative interventions, and evidence-based practises that enable students, staff, and families to care for their mental health is part of our goal.
The department works collaboratively with teachers, parents, administrators, and other professionals to create a coordinated system of support. It fosters partnerships to address the diverse needs of students effectively.
We strive to foster thriving minds, strong support networks, and a culture of empathy, self-expression, and well-being via cooperation, education, and a holistic approach.
We want to raise awareness about mental health and wellbeing by instilling a culture of samskara, angikaran, and dhi.
