20th August 2018
WORLD PHOTOGRAPHY DAY CELEBRATION
‘Photography is the only language that can be understood anywhere in the world’
In photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality. Nothing can capture and replicate life’s memorable experiences and moments better than a camera. With this dainty tool, students of Delhi Public School, Dwarka Expressway, Sector 102A, Gurugram, expressed their opinions, interests, believes and unleash their creativity. A photography exhibition was conducted on 20th August 2018 in the school premises. The exhibition covered various types of photography including food, fine arts, wildlife, social cause etc. Our budding photographers explained their photography to the visitors. Grade 6 & 7 attended a photography workshop conducted in DPS premises by Canon team. Mr. Virender Singh, the expert photographer from Canon, made students aware regarding the techniques of clicking and using various types of cameras. Students learnt how to use camera for e.g., initial preparation, shooting etiquettes and how to hold the camera while clicking the photograph. They also learnt how to choose various shooting modes. The most interesting part of the workshop was witnessed when students got DSLR cameras in their hand to shoot and learn the skills practically. They very much enjoyed clicking different objects in nature and understood the beauty of photography through practical exposure. The workshop was inspirational which helped students to learn something different related to photography. It ended with the card and a ‘Thank You’ token to the Canon team from team DPS.
