                                        MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION

“Life doesn’t come with a manual, it comes with a MOTHER.”

Delhi Public School, Sector 102 A, Dwarka Expressway, Gurugram organized an array of activities to salute Motherhood and the unconditional love all the mothers foster in their hearts, not just for their children but for everyone around them. The day highlighted the heart to heart bond a child shares with mother and was a tribute to their selfless, amazing and loving existence in a child’s life. The celebration included a kaleidoscope of activities that were designed especially to celebrate the God’s gift called ‘Mother’. Little students from classes 1 – 3 lovingly crafted dazzling heart-shaped cards for their ever doting mothers. Dipsonians from classes 4 – 7, under the guidance and supervision of their class educators, created ‘Make – up Remover’ for their new age mommies. They even tested the remover and were thrilled to see its effect. A special assembly to mark the occasion was conducted by the students of grade 7, the highlight of which was an overwhelming dance performance that showcased the essence of motherhood. The rhythmic & synchronized performance accentuated all that mothers do to make their children’s dream come true and the pride that they take when they see their children reaching the pinnacle of success. The act was well applauded and appreciated by one and all present there. Speaking on the occasion, the Head Mistress Ms. Sumita Gupta, told the students to respect their parents and put in the best of their efforts to make them proud. She urged them to always support and love their mother as they will never get another.
