DPS Society

The DPS Society (DPSS) is a distinguished non-profit and non-proprietary educational organization, renowned for its unwavering commitment to educational excellence.

Founded in 1949 with its inaugural school on Mathura Road, New Delhi, DPSS now boasts over 100 schools across India and abroad, including nine core institutions and their affiliates in Delhi.

Under the visionary leadership of Chairman Mr. B. K. Chaturvedi, DPSS strives to deliver comprehensive and high-quality education to every segment of society, a principle epitomized by its motto, "Service before Self." DPS Schools nurture self-assured, independent individuals who exhibit versatility, creativity, and an adventurous spirit. The Council of Educational Planning and Training (CEPT) fosters innovative educational trends, benefiting both educators and students. The Council of Environment Education and Culture (CEEC) instills in DPS students a profound appreciation for environmental conservation and preservation. Additionally, the Arts and Heritage Council, along with the Media, Publication, Sports, and Health divisions, contribute to the enrichment of education.

DPSS has also pioneered initiatives like Shiksha Kendras, which empower and educate children from underprivileged backgrounds. Through projects such as EDULINKS (Satellite-based collaborative learning) and LEAP (Learning Exchange and Association Platform), various DPS Schools are interconnected, fostering a collaborative educational environment.
